In partnership with Naturally Creative, this hands on workshop explores the impact chronic stress has on your mind, body and soul and how turning to nature, rather than pharmaceuticals, can help relieve stress and anxiety.
Stress, especially amongst children and teenagers is on the increase and research states that we are having 50 stress responses a day. Over time, these stress responses become habitual, so rather than responding to life and situations from a place of calmness, we react from a place of stress.
In this 3 1/2 hour workshop in Notting Hill, you will learn:
How to recognize stress
The impact chronic stress has on your body and mind (including speeding up the ageing process and lowering the immune system)!
A number of tools and techniques to bring a natural resting state to the body - including a mindfulness meditation practice
Following this in-depth discussion, Hilary from Naturally Creative will introduce you to key Essential Oils (that have been used for thousands of years), to aid in calming the body and mind. Delving into the world of essential oils will be like exploring the apothecary after hours .… lots to discover and sniff to your hearts content….Learn how to create your own essential oil blends and how to use them to maximum benefit. There will be time to make your own personal blend in a rollerball that you can take home with you.
This workshop is suitable for teenagers and adults, those currently experiencing stress and those interested in learning how to lessen the impact of stress.
